C. Patterson,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Patterson is
the founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Brandywine Trust
Company. Mr. Patterson previously served as the Managing Director of
Kaplan, Choate & Co., a registered investment advisor serving high net
worth families, following his engagement as Business Affairs Director of
Handmade Films Ltd. & EuroAtlantic, Ltd. in London.
Mr. Patterson
graduated from Harvard College in 1970 and from Harvard Law School
(Magna Cum Laude) in 1974. He was
Administrative Assistant to the Hon. Francis W. Sargent, Governor of
Massachusetts from 1970 to 1971, Law Clerk to the Hon. Carl McGowan,
Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit from 1974 to 1975,
Law Clerk to Justice Harry A. Blackmun, Supreme Court of the United
States from 1975 to 1976, Assistant U.S. Attorney, Chief Appellate
Attorney, Southern District of New York from 1976 to 1980, and was an
Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison from 1980 to 1982.
Mr. Patterson is
a Director of Campbell Soup Company, Florida Crystals Corporation, and
Flo-Sun, Incorporated, the Chairman of Beaverkill Valley Land Trust and
a Trustee of the Wenner-Gren Foundation.
